His Holiness was asked to speak to a group of American Sufis. He proceeded to talk to them about Sufism; which as it turns out he is quite familiar with. The audience said, ” No, we want to hear you talk about Buddhism.” He said, “No, you are Sufis; I will talk Sufism.” “What is the difference, then, your Holiness, he was asked, between Sufism and Buddhism? His response? “In Sufism God is Everything; in Buddhism god is nothing; same thing! No difference!!”
